I have a 6' built privacy fence - not pre made or plastic, and its getting older. It has started leaning outward (my fault, put stuff against it). anyway, treated, solid stained 4x4, thinking screw and glue to get fence to stop pulling away from posts. Treated screws 2"? and gorilla glue or construction glue tube long strip of glue top to bottom? also as screws go in coat them with glue? Thoughts?

Get you some galvanized metal fence posts and pound them in the ground next to your 4x4 wood posts. Now pull the fence over and tie it to the metal posts. That's what my neighbor did and it works great.

Get you a metal fence post driver like this:

It works. Around my yard the failure mode for the fence is the wooden posts giving out. They now get replaced with metal and I just paint them the same color as the wood.

+1 on steel posts. Out here in windy west Texas, pressure-treated 4x4's don't last anytime. Folks out here set them in about two to three feet of concrete.
