Shindaiwa Power Broom

So I scored a nice used PB280 power broom that had a failed carb. Its got only the round bristle drums with no way to install the paddles unless I upgrade the gear box.

I was wondering if anyone knows what the pros and cons are for the paddles vs bristle? Is one more desirable?

Paddles can move snow pretty good. Otherwise I like bristles for most other stuff.

I didn't either. Got it with a bunch of other 2 strokes and found it worth restoring. Low hours as the fuel varnished.

Can I let my boss borrow it? She would love to fly around on a power broom!
