Shell Spirax or Mobil PTX (not sure) 75W-90 Porsche 997 43500 miles on the oil

Any toughts ? My lab contact said the oil was shot, low viscosity

Given that it's supposed to have a KV40 viscosity somewhere in the 60-75 range looking up those fluids, I'd say half the viscosity is pretty darn shot.
 
Lots of wear metals, far too thin for a (assumed) 75W-90. You aren't sure if you put Shell Spirax in or Mobil PTX. Are you actually certain this has ever been 75W-90?
I'd suggest you try something different e.g. Castrol or Ravenol. What does Porsche spec for this gearbox?

Porsche recommend Shell Spirax S5 or Mobilube PTX 75W-90, i have now filled up my transmission with Motul Gear 300 75W-90 , smooth as silk, and i will have a maximum OCI at 20000 miles, or maybe once a year since i track the car pretty often
