Shell or Havoline?

If you had a choice what would you pick? both dino oil

If you can find the newer bottles of Havoline that read "ChevronTexaco" on the back, that's my pick for a dino oil.

The Equilon Havoline is probably almost like Shell. As stated above, the Chevron Havoline is probably better. Wal-Mart's house oil will probably soon be the same as the old Havoline.

There's been very little discussion or testing of Shell. I thought the mid-90's Consumer Reports stated that it varied widely in different parts of the country.

Advance Auto Parts house brand may be identical to the new (Chevron) Havoline.
