Sheetz installed Tesla chargers

They have EV chargers at many of the places that I go. My work, local casino, and golf course. Soon, they will be lots more places and just part of our normal landscape.

Not a fan of Sheetz.

Sheetz use to post their price of premium unleaded on their big sign at the front of their stations, and Sheetz was competitive with the price of other stations premium unleaded.

On or about 2016 Sheetz no longer displayed the price of premium unleaded on the big sign, and Sheetz no longer competed with local stations on the price of premium unleaded, it was not unusual for Sheetz to be .40 per gallon higher than the local competition on premium unleaded.

Free market- I get it, and I was free to avoid Sheetz anytime possible after the pricing game.

Interesting because Sheetz is one of the low price leaders around me.
And dependably so.

C'mon! There should have been a standardized plug right from the beginning of this mess!
Do you see different nozzles on gas pumps that won't fit in your car? NO!!
Some demwit needs to get this figured out, and I'd say pretty soon.

So you want more government regulation?

So now, the Gov't wants to install charging stations every 50 miles, right?
What's it gonna be, every other one will be able to charge a Tesla?

Maybe every other one will have a bathroom too.

As I and others have stated. The EV thing is happening. The EVs are coming. So are more affordable EVs.....

Awesome, I've seen them in Greensboro, NC, at Sheetz for a few years now.

Tesla chargers are specifically designed with lockouts so they can only charge Tesla cars. Any government-installed chargers need to be free of such locks so that any car maker that's willing to make a straightforward adaptation can use them. This will lead to dual ports on Tesla cars if they are able to stay in the market.

Government-sponsord bathroom stops along highways of course already exist.

The movie theaters if smart , would install chargers. You could plan a trip and incorporate a movie while it charges. Could sell more movie tickets.
