Yeah in the glory days of drag racing. The old MOPARS sure were fast, but the cars they raced in NHRA were sure ugly compared to later MOPARS. Love those early 60's factory race cars. Like the swiss cheese Pontiacs, the aluminum 409 Chevys, and the crazy Ford Thunderbolts.

Yes, it's wrong wheel drive. Yes, it's funky. No, it really didn't belong in the Oldsmobile lineup and yet I still like the 455 powered, flat floor, rolling speedometer, and everything else.

Spazdog....I had a front wheel drive 75 Eldorado with the 500 engine. It was a fun albeit not economical ride. Took the powerplant out, rebuilt it, and stuffed it in a 62 Biscayne. Loved how most uniformed people thought I had a Chrysler 440 in it.
