For just torqueing drain plugs, what do you guys say? $50 for the 3/8 clicker, or $70 for the digital?

These appear to be the normal retail prices at Lowes for Craftsman torque wrenches. I'm not sure if they are the same ones though but they do have them for $70ish bucks.

The warranty for the Craftsman digital torque wrenches is 90 days. I expected better from Craftsman. I can get that much warranty from Harbor Freight.
Are you forgetting that Craftsman was bought out and is no longer Sears?
Regardless of who now owns Craftsman, I would expect a better warranty from a leading tool name like Craftsman.
$20 3/8" one from HF. Drain plugs are not that sensitive.
Warranty reflects what the vendor knows about the quality of the merchandise. Craftsman used to be a quality name but has diminished the past 50 years.
Yes, unfortunately, you are absolutely spot on. Craftsman has been riding on their laurels for a few decades now, taking advantage of those that respect the brand, because of experiences of their fathers and grandfathers.
Thanks. I ordered the 1/2" analog model. This will be an upgrade from my Craftsman beam type torque wrench that I got while in high school some 45 years ago.
My 3/8” digital arrived today. Looks good. Thanks to the OP for the heads-up.
