Scratch removing cloth?

Has anyone tried these Nano sparkle cloths that are suppose to remove all but the worst paint scratches? If so, are they something special, or would just using rubbing compound do the same thing. Sounds a lot like snake oil to me
They are pretty expensive, so if they don't do what they say, It would be a rip off in my opinion. Each one only does a few scratches it says.

Sounds like wet sanding with extremely fine grit sand paper. No thanks...

I too figured it was no better than fine sandpaper, or rubbing compound.
