Hi all, here’s the latest UOA on my F-150 5.0L V8. 7.3k miles and 4 months on this OCI. The analysis came back looking good minus a touch of fuel dilution, which could have been because I only drove the truck 2-3 miles to warm it up before the oil change. This is the new API SP formula, and the previous column was the same oil except SN Plus formula. Thanks for taking a look!

Glad to see this. I had no doubts that it was good. I just switched our 2020 F250 over to it at work. It pulls a trailer daily for 2 months a year and does short trips the rest for the most part.

This isn't actually an API SP approved oil correct? They just say it meets the requirements like Amsoil does?

Schaeffer’s does carry API approval on their regular lineup of PCMO’s, however their racing oils would not.

Oh nice, I never realized they had an API certified line of oils. Makes them a more interesting choice for sure.
