I have never heard of emailing a check, printing it out, then taking a picture with a banking app.

Like said, it's some poor schmuck's account numbers. I'd also read the TOS of your banking app to see if you need the original check in your possesion.

You're just going to piss someone off and possibly get in legal trouble yourself.

It has been a couple of hours since I messaged him and he has not replied. He probably suspects that I am on to him.
