I've just completed a flat tappet cam replacement in my 1984 Pontiac Firebird, 305 LG4.
Engine was running fine, though the limpest camshaft GM ever put in a sbc.
Now running a 420/443 112 lsa cam (old school "stage 1" grind). I used Driven BR30 break in oil and their assembly grease at manufacturers recommendation, I believe with great success.
I have been running Rotella T4 10w30 CK-4 for about the last 2 years, mostly out of convenience. Car does about 2000 miles per year.

At 1174 phosphorus and 1310 Zinc, am I in the range for a mild cam running stock springs?

Rotella T4 10w30 VOA
Since I didn’t see a VOA for Rotella T4 10w30 I sent one in. CK4 rated also.
