Any movies I really like, I always try to find and read the book that inspired them. Many times, there are points the movies omit.
Another one they did a decent job of remaking. The movie had my whole family in tears. I finished the book on an airplane somewhere over the Atlantic and the people around me probably thought I was having a breakdown.
The Bridge To Terabithia. If that is supposed to be a kid's movie, then that movie takes a quite a tragic turn. When the girl's grieving parents are telling the boy she loved him, and he's kicking himself for not asking her to join him on the class trip. 
I can't listen to Chris Stapleton's "Maggie's Song" either.

Logan.
It was really sad to see him slowly dying all the way through that movie. Seeing the relationship between he and Charles Xavier being taken away when X24 killed him. Seeing Logan be the last of the X-men. Seeing Logan struggle and wishing for death.
Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine is a great character, it was a great movie, albeit a little depressing at the same time.

Thanks a lot...(j'k) Saw it last night, luckily I was alone. The dog Enzo, especially in the later years looked like my golden that passed in 2006. Very good movie but so hard to watch
