Rusty shock tower

I have noticed a rattle in the right side rear section of my 2020 lincoln corsair. It's getting an oil change next week so I asked the mechanic to take a look back there.
He said he hopes it's not a rusted shock tower. Me too!!
I know this was an issue in older boxy style escapes, and I know the corsair is based on the current escape.
Do these versions have an issue with it?
Also, does anyone know what wires can be used to get the turn signals for trailer towing? I have found the brake and tail light wires and there is no plug and play kit for corsairs. An escape kit won't work.
Thanks.

You'll have to take the car to a trained professional to have them fab up some new strut towers or junk yard time and cut out the main structure of the inner fender which includes the strut tower and patch weld.

I'd be really surprised if you have structurally significant corrosion at this point.
But even if you do, these problems can be fixed by Bubba and Junior with a MIG welder and some sheet metal.
Just be careful about setting interior parts on fire.
