I know in general, higher engine RPMs results in a shorter engine life. But why?
Is it due to A)higher stress level of parts causing increased wear or B)the accelerated rate of wear directly related to accerated accumulation of engine revolutions?
To clarify, in B), higher RPM don't actually cause more engine wear, you are just reaching the end of an engine's life that much quicker. Just curious
