RP: Some of the carrier oil is mineral

There has been a flurry of posts about Royal Purple in the last several days. Rather than hijack the authors' posts to address a side issue raised in one or two of them, here is some info I got from a RP technical advisor today. I posed the question as to the composition of the carrier oil for the additive package, in response to an assertion here that RP's website information was ambiguous. Answer:

"The carrier oil for some of the additives that we use are mineral oils.
This makes up a vary small % of the finished product."

Not that there is a problem with that mind you, as Terry said in another post, it's such a very tiny amount that it's insignificant and won't affect performance of the oil.
