This was left over gear oil from last summer. I filled the lower unit of one of my boats and left the bottle in my unheated garage, capped tightly. VOA done by Butler Cat Labs.

Yes this is a synthetic gear oil. I did change the title to reflect that. I am very happy with this oil in my lower unit on my boat. On my trucks I use the Royal Purple 75W140 Synthetic with no issues, and one has LS and no additive was required. [Smile]

I use this in the rear of my '03 Z06. It works great and I didn't have to use any LS addititive.
