Rotella T Syn 5W-40 CJ-4

On Rotella T's website they are displaying the new Syn 5W-40 CJ-4 info.

How long do you think it will take before we start seeing in the local stores?

Hopefully they put a wee bit of group IV or V in it this time along with all the group III. It is certainly cheap though!! I saw a quote for bulk 5W40 delo syn for under $13/gallon for a large national account recently

Rimula Ultra (Rotella synthetic) is something like three times the price of D1 on this side of the Pacific !

A Wal-Mart here last night did NOT have this oil. The other day, an Advance Auto Parts did NOT have this oil. Same for Mobil/Delvac. It angers me that the big oil companies wait to release their synthetic HDEOs well after they release their dino versions. Kudos to the little companies that do supply the latest synthetic HDEOs on time.

I haven't seen the cj4 rotella syn yet, but if you're looking for the delvac 1, farm and fleet has it if you have one nearby. It's relabled ESP, or sumthin similiar. I'm too lazy to walk out to the garage and check, but will do so if you're really interested.

TA truck stops have Mobil Delvac 1 ESP as well.
