Rotella T 15w40 question

Does anyone know what base oil is used in this? I've heard from a few people it's still Grp I. I don't believe that any oil today that holds an SM rating could still be Grp I.

Yes, Rotella T 15W-40 is going to be a Group II based oil.

All the HDEO (CI-4+/CJ-4) 15W-40 oils here in North America are Group II based these days. Delo 400, Rotella, Delvac, Valvoline Premium Blue .
