New guy here,

Question_ what is the Zddp of Rotella-t 10w-30 I've heard that it has been lowered for the new diesel emission standards. Is this true? This has been my oil of choice for many years in my classic cars and want to ensure my investments are protected.

Thanks Jay

As I'm sure you're finding out, there are MANY threads here about ZDDP; I tend to side with those who note that it's most important at break-in and with higher spring pressures. My small block Mustang had loads of it at break-in and its first 5K miles. For daily use, I've not lost any cam lobes after 30,000 miles with triple-T. For track days, I bump it up to 15W-40.
