Why is it so hard to find Romano cheese. Everyon sells Parmajan cheese, but Romano was almost non-existant. Some had it mixed with Parmajan and Asaijo. Finally in a specialty market that has a cheese shop, I found the sheeps milk Romano. Great stuff for spaghetti!

there are plenty of Italian specialty shops around, but I can get what I want at Wegman's or ShopRite. Locatelli is my favorite.

Easy to find Romano cheese here. But I've never heard of Parmajan. What kind of cheese is that? Hard grating as well?

I am afraid that besides not being able to spell, I can't remember what kind of cheese I ate last, or even know if these cheeses are supposed to be capitalized for being a place name or not. Glad someone cleared it up. Yeah, I just had my son go get it from the fridge, it's Parmesan. So that would be pronounced parma-sohn, not parma-john?

I pronounce it parma-SHAAN. just don't put an 'O' on the end, that just sounds pretentious.
