Does anyone know what the rocker arm ratio is on a 2.2L 4 banger in a 1995 cavalier? It looks like they are 1.5 ratio like a small block chevy V8 but i am not sure.

They are 1.5 ratio. A '95 model should have the roller fulcrum rockers similar to the LS1, 3100/3400 and 3800 V6 engines.

It might be possible to swap in a set of 3800 rockers which are a 1.6 ratio as they do look eerily similar. Most important thing to check would be where the rocker bolts to the head, as the 3800 rockers sit on an aluminum guide plate.

Or, if money is of little concern, check with www.zzperformance.com or www.intense-racing.com and see if they'll custom-drill a set of your rockers to whatever ratio you want. They sell reworked 3800 rockers in 1.7, 1.8 and 1.9 ratio. All that is done is the pushrod hole is welded shut and a new hole is drilled closer to the fulcrum to achieve a different ratio. They work great, but you'll have to do a little homework on your valve springs to ensure they don't bind with the additional lift.

PM me if you need more info.
