He was the singer and bass player in The Outfield. I was just listening to The Outfield today at work. Very sad. They have always been a huge favorite of mine since the first time I heard the Play Deep album. I never got to see them play live but they had some great songs. RIP.

Woah! Always liked The Outfield hits and a few of the not so well or non popular tunes. Sad.

One of their demos I especially like better than what was released (which I find just now to actually be released with 30 other songs and sounds even better!)

RIP Tony. Their music was awesome and I'm glad I was able to see them back in '86 or '87.
It's weird too, as my band was just cover sampling some of The Outfield tunes last week.
