Very sorry that I ended up duplicating your post. But I do have to say RIP Smokin' Joe. Who could forget "The Thrilla in Manila" with Muhammad Ali in 1975.

RIP. I haven't really watched much boxing since the days of his greatness. I think a lot of folks rooted for Joe when Ali was a 'talkin....But really we just wanted to see a good boxing match and it seems to me we weren't let down when Smokin' Joe was in the ring.

I met Frazier once. He wasn't a particularly tall guy, but very muscular. That hook was a devestating punch.
One of the best IMO. RIP Joe Frazier.

Okay, maybe I exaggerated a bit, but my point is I just don't follow the sport these days....it was much more interesting when fighters like Fraizer, Ali, Foreman, Leonard, Hagler, Hearns, Duran, etc, were fighting...
