Replacement oil for Volvo Super 46 Hydraulic oil used in Volvo CE

Hello,
Volvo specifies Volvo Super 46 to be used in their wheel loaders but I can't order it online and the dealer is too far away to pick up. What is a good quality replacement oil that meets the specs? There is very little info online on this.

It looks to be a simple AW46 product.
It would be important to know if it contains zinc or not; that's about the only concern you would have.

On the Messics channel they were talking about a similar issue with the regular vs semi synthetic hydraulic fluid. Apparently in cold weather states you are supposed to use the semi-synthetic as it has cold weather package or additives.

Thank you guys! Any tips on how to figure it if it's a zinc oil or not? I saw on another discussion that it's a high vi oil.

Best way to know is to send in some for a VOA.
Then you can post it here for review in the VOA section.

Okay, I hadn't thought of that. Is there a particular company I should use? Is any oil analysis company good enough?

A lot of this will depend on where you’re located. I think this is a multi-viscosity type zinc hydraulic oil so not a simple AW 46 fluid. Depending on your location I would call a nearby reputable lubricant distributor and ask for their advice on what to use. What’s available locally can vary widely and different folks may carry different options.
