Bought my daughter a used 2010 4 door sedan Yaris last year for college. My observations:
Car averages 30 MPG regardless of conventional or synthetic oil.
Oil changes call for regular oil at 5K intervals.
Car takes a spin on filter, not cartridge.
Car runs like a tank.
Car is not a Corolla but none existed in the same price range for the same year when we looked. They were easily a thousand apart.
Car IS NOT made for large people.
Car is good for the purpose it was designed for and does what it is supposed to do.
Still can't get used to the gauges being in the middle of the dash but my kid LUVS this car and chose it over other Hondas and Toyotas.
