? REGARDING SYNTHETIC AND ENGINE SEALS

If I continue on using M1 above and beyond 100k and I eventually develope an oil leak, is there ever a problem going back to a much thicker oil like Valvoline Maxlife Blend? For some reason it seems as if an engine running a nice "free flowing" oil like M1 would have a hard time going back to the thicker stuff? Or is this simply not true and why?

I don't think Maxlife is noticeably thicker than M-1. Your Mobil is 11.3cSt@100.... on the thick side.

The cSt I listed is for 5w30 - which I thought you used. Am I correct?

Why don't you cross that "wondering" bridge if/when a leak ever occurs?
