Refractometer Coolant Tester

Does anybody have a recommendation on one of these? I am looking for a low cost unit if possible.

I can't answer your question directly. But, the lower priced ones are probably NOT temperature compensating. This is not a problem for the diy'er, but just be aware of that feature and that you need to be a bit more careful calibrating it.

I have a temperature compensating model at work and I simply love it. It gives such precise readings.....a delight for those with OCD!
