Redline fuel additive for small engines?

Does anyone use this in their 4 stroke lawnmower/small engines? I use it in my cars with success, just wondering if it is ok for small engines in the same dose/dilution as for cars.

I have a beater lawn mower. Last fall I ran Neutra 131 in the fuel at very high dosage, maybe 25%. Seems to run better, but still hard starting. Just dumped some Redline SI-1 in it. Had maybe a pint of fuel and I added about 2 oz SI-1. I don't think it will hurt anything.

What would you consider "unsuccessful"?

Bill - unsuccessful if it caused the engine to run poorly, poor fuel consumption, cel activation, mechanical damage. Also reputation and recommendations are positive for auto engines. Roger

Bill I am sorry I cannot follow your argumentative thinking,I am merely asking for opinions, as I do about motor oil and all manner of things on these forums, most of them subjective.

Think most these products used per label are pretty safe. Will your mower benefit? doubt you'd notice any difference even if it did.

I like to add some stabilizer in the fuel of my toys and tools the last time they get used for the season. Been using Pennzoil marine fuel treatment with good next year results. Has worked much better than stabil, FWIW.

I added some rislone karb-out and 2 caps full of MMO
Just bought the B&S with old oil and varnished fuel.. been sitting for 2 seasons.
Gave it a tune up, fresh gas.. fresh oil
It's all good. BTW if it goes with gas.. itll go in a lawnmower

Can't see why not to use it in small engines. I have never added RL to my fuel for my mower since its rather expensive(the RL). I have used MMO and a couple ozs of FP60 though. The mower loves the MMO. Once it tastes it, it gets instant starts on that tank.

Only things I have noticed is once I did an over dose while not paying attention. I put about 6oz into the 32oz fuel tank. The engine ran like a top but its fumes had a strange and sickening odor. It made me light headed to keep breathing it in. Not sure what caused that but it never happened again when I ran more reasonable doses.
