Recommend SAE - DIN Adapter (for cigarette lighter powered air compressor)

I have a Porsche air compressor (Intercompressor model) with the DIN plug. I use it occasionally on my 944 but also want to use it on my American cars which have SAE sockets. The DIN plug is too large in diameter to fit the SAE socket so I'm looking for an adapter. I looked on Amazon and don't find one, but perhaps I'm not looking for the right thing. I find many adapters for motorcycles but those don't appear to be the right plug style and current rating. I don't want to cut off the plug from my compressor and swap with an SAE since I want to use it on various cars.

Any suggestions for an adapter?

Thanks!

Pictures of the plug you have? I have one of the standard (maybe SAE) old school power port/cigarette lighter things. It has 2 alligator clamps to connect to battery for stuff needing more power/larger wire.

Get a viair :)

I’ve never seen a din socket in my 30-40 yo German cars. I’d probably look for an adapter that lets you alligator clip to the battery direct.

That's because the German car manufacturers put us-spec lighters in the cars they sell in America.

Edit: I went on realoem to check the part numbers for the US and European models of the BMW F22 (2014-2021 2 series coupe). The part numbers are the same for the lighter parts. ARGH!
