Fix leaks and switch to oil specified in owners manual.. cheapest 5w-30 conventional ?? you can get. I have 5 fills (5000 OCI) 5w30 FVP conventional at $2.50/qt..WIX filter. My 2005 3.5ltr V6 loves it.. -25F to 100F.
rear main/oil pan leak got worse, move to 10w30? or switch to conventional?

Find another Mechanic and fix it if you plan on keeping it.
