I have never owned a Toyota, but I dont doubt that they will do everything they can to weasel out of an expensive recall or warranty claim.
There is a big difference between GM and Toyota though. When you look at the Consumers Reports auto issue, the Toyota cars and trucks are all rated AT THE TOP for quality and reliability. Almost all of the GM cars are rated poorly.
Toyota makes the best quality cars in the world. GMs is way below average.
Why do you think that the market share of Honda and Toyota increase every year, while GMs has been in a tailspin for decades? People are catching on to the difference in quality!
