How do you decide which threads to lock (but not until the usual anti-goverment trolls have their heyday) and which ones to remove right away without a trace? Thanks!

It depends on the mood for the day. Only post non controversial stuff and you will be ok....

No intent here. Can you not just ask a simple question without some kind of purposeful attack of others you disagree with? Wow. Surely we will leave it up to you to ferret out these "anti-goverment" (SIC) types. http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/1173377/Board_Rules#Post1173377 http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/1600969/PROFANITY#Post1600969

Goes both ways. Can't you answer without insulting others you disagree with? Wow.

This thread looks to be tailor made to get ways to get unwanted critic blocked.why?a lot of point critic bring braught good (fram touguard oil bypass screen)

First, I don't know which thread is being referenced here, doesn't really matter to me. But I will say that I believe that frequently mods are privy to relevant background information that may not be known to all posters/members. Just speculating obviously, but I believe that may be a factor in the decision making in question. My.02

Mention guns or Auto-Rx and likely to be locked.

There are definitely some members here who are above and beyond the rules, and it seems this site lately has become overrun by n00bs,and all of the legitimate longtime members have said, screw it,and no longer are on the site, which is VERY unfortunate.

Not true, MolaKule is still posting. He's the best source of info. A few others not bad, many are just argumentative and insulting, grumpy. I did notice the "ISIS Toyota Pickup" thread was taken down. Did it violate the 'politics' ban? I guess its just petty "politics" to come down on one side or the other on that issue. We are neutral you know. Whatever ISIS does is fine since they're just misunderstood, thats all. They may need a timeout. (Oops, I may have been too harsh on them. My bad.)
