This is my girlfriends car. She drives 90% highway. She drives 35 miles each way to work, all highway. I dumped the FF @ 2,580 (75% OLM). I didn't reset the OLM and took it down to 7% when I did this oil change. The copper and iron are high, but the engine has less then 10K miles. The TBN of 2.8 looks like this oil could go farther if need be. It held its viscosity nicely. This oil starts off at 10.5. I now have Kendall Synthetic 5W-30 in the crankcase. I will take this oil down to below 10% OLM for its OCI. Miles on oil: 7,008 Miles on engine: 9,588 Oil Filter: WIX

Is that the one at the corner of Front and Kittiridge Avenues NW? Thank you for sharing and Happy New Year.

Yep. It's the second time I have used them. I was a big Blackstone fan, but their reports have a lot of errors these days.

You have a synthetic oil in there now. Run it to 0% and don't even flinch. GM's four clinders and transmission (for the four cylinders) are very apt at being economical when it comes to maintenance.

This is the same lab that does the napa/wix kits. Looks pretty good for 13.99 +sh.

This isn't a DI engine.
