Here are the results of almost 6K miles of 80/20 city/hwy driving. 2005 Chevy Malibu 3.5l V6.

The 1st column is the QS UOA and the second column is the UOA of the last OCI done using Mobil 1 0W-30 AFE.

Oil: QuakerState QHorsepower 5W-30 AFE, SM & CF-4,

No makeup oil needed.

I changed the oil at 10% on the OLM on both runs. This time the OLM indicated 10% at 5,900 miles of 80/20 City/Hwy driving. The last run on Mobil 1 0W-30 had an OLM of 10% at 6,900 miles but that run was 60/40 City/Hwy driving. It would appear a change in hwy vs city driving does effect the OLM.

Why is the copper and iron so high still? The engine should be broken in by 36K?

Not bad results, and it seems it worked well with the OLM - if you'd run it to 0%, you'd probably be close to a 2 TBN, which is where many on here say to change an oil.

I'd say copper is typical GM; and is much better here than with the M1.
