Did QS stop the line of High mileage with slick50? Not a big deal if they did. Reason I bring this up is that I am looking into buying a higher mileage vehicle.

No, it is still in Wal-Mart here in KC. Was in China Mart last weekend, and some guy scratching his head in the oil aisle, bought some. I just wanted to get the GF to [censored]-slap him so bad, but I resisted.

Depending on the condition of the engine, you 'new to you' high mileage car may not need H.M. oil.
If it doesn't use oil, or doesn't use much between changes, why bother?

Only stuff left over now has Slick50 logo. New Quaker State® Higher Mileage Engine motor oil has no such logo and is part of the new Advanced, Enhanced, Ultimate Durability line.

It still says "with Slick50", it's just in smaller print

Neither does Quaker State, as they no longer use it in "Slick50," which has become essentially a conventional oil additive with lots of anti-wear stuff...
