CC/CD is old school IDI diesel spec-of course, Ford also recommended 2000 mile oil changes with it (that’s what the info on my ‘89 F-SuperDuty/450 says! The old idi was down a couple quarts. I had this and since it meets the spec for the engine in it went .
Figured a qt mixed into 8 others won't hurt anything.

I remember buying oil in those bottles.I would of put that oil in my collection not my engine lol. I’m sure it’s fine but I collect old stuff and I know SG oil is old haha. Love that bottle. Definitely before my time haha.
It's due for a change in 900 milesVintage! I'd have used it too, though maybe not for a long internal.

My F-450 weighs about 10,000 pounds more than Chris’ does! Loaded, of course…"Turbo Approved"
I've always been a QS fan. That's right dump it into that ol IDI.
Perhaps the discrepencies between the 89 F450 & 87 F250 ODI was the Duty cycle on each truck was different. The GVWR of the 450 more than 250 so the oil ought to be changed 500 miles before. This is just speculation on my part. Very interesting none the less.
That is very high weights. I know the f450 weights more empty but how does one get that much extra weight loaded? like a boom equipment truck or something? My won ton is 13,000 lbs loaded with my slide in truck camper as an example. My F-450 weighs about 10,000 pounds more than Chris’ does! Loaded, of course…
