Just wondering if you guys think running Purple Ice is okay with current Honda coolant. I would regard the current coolant as green/blue in colour. My car is a Honda S2000 and it can run pretty hot, anything to assist with cooling may be good in my opinion.

In the past I ran Redline Watter Wetter with Honda coolant and I would get this brownish residue in the cooling system from the Water Wetter. Would Purple Ice do the same thing ?, is this a problem ?. I like the idea of reducing surface tension in the cooling system, but I don't want to run the stuff if it creates residue and sediment. Any opinions or advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

thanks for the replies, so skip either one all together then hugh, sounds like good advice. I just put in fresh coolant, which I believe is the type 2, we'll leaave it at that. Thanks again.
