Purolator Pure One 6500mi Cut Open

Off a 2013 Legacy 2.5L with 75Kmi. 6500mi OCI 7/28/16. Mostly highway, Castrol Synth 0W-20 out and in, NAPA Gold 7055 back on. Filter held up well, no visible tears, louvers, filter was filled with oil despite vertical base-down filter location,



damage on end cap was from me. Bought on sale at kmart for $5.33.

Back in the day, people used to swear those filters were so evil and so cursed they would destroy your car as soon as they were screwed in place.
