I run our Acura with 3k mile OCIs due to lots of short tripping to school and back. I have a large stock of Purolator filters, and I swap them with each oil change just so I don't still have them 10 years from now. So fans of long FCIs...just deal with it.

As usual, no tears, and the filter looks 100%. Date code is F07B13E1. I took just one picture because, well, there's nothing to see. I did enjoy exercising the mediocre camera on my Droid Mini for this. Flash is off and HDR is on.

It's currently got Valvoline NextGen 5W-20 with another PL14610.

WOW Not even the usual wavy media im in shock !!
I forced my distributor to take them all back and he did because we buy a lot of filters from him. We can't afford to take chances

What are you talking about?

Earlier production Purolator here.

And it looks fine.

3k no torture test, but this one looks good. Repetitious but I've never had an issue with the PL14610 either, mostly running them 10-15%MM ~6500-7k miles ocis on Hondas. And I've run and posted many.

Thanks for posting.
