This filter was off my girlfriends 2010 Toyota Camry. Unlike mine, hers had the rings fixed at 69k. Filter and some CarQuest Syn 0w20 I put in for 5k. Second fill was some CARQUEST Syn HM 5w20 for another 5k. Looks real good, adbv very soft like bubblegum. Put a FRAM ULTRA 4386 That’s older wire backed one on with some Valvoline Synthetic 0w20. 80,998 on odometer also.

Looks like it held up well. But we really cannot tell must about its filtering capabilities by looking at pictures.
Filtering capabilities ... with more than just looking at it.

Ah yeah you can to a degree...

Holes in the filter media and or tears = not much filtering happened .. .

This actually matters a lot given some world championship filters with blown out filter media or tears in the media that have been shown by pictures on here.

Looks good!

Outside of the pressure relief valve, this filter looks similar to the one I took off my Alaskan Silverado this spring.

Outside of their lackluster ability to filter small micron particles, it's hard to fault the construction of the Boss filter.

Used as designed, they will not fail. Tough birds...

Can someone explain the date code for Purolator please.
