So I finally got a chance to hold a 5qt jug. And buy it. 118 miles from home is the closest Wally World that ACTUALLY had it in stock. Interesting thing about this is the fact there was still a LOT of old formula Ultra in 10W30 flavor. Too bad I stocked up on the old stuff a while back or I would have got it. But I had to get some PUP just to satisfy myself in getting some. Didn't think anyone else would care, so I posted here.

Here in Denver there is plenty of PUP around. And nearly every single jug of it has been opened. I've checked. Any old Ultra around has been opened as well. Currently about all I can find unopened is PPPP, most weights seem to continue to be unmolested.

No Walmart here carries it (three in a 50 mile radius). I can still find it at AAP in 5w40 for $9.19/qt.

Tried site to store but they said they couldn't do it where I live. And no AAP or AZ or anything else has it around me. Luckily the 2 jugs I grabbed were not opened.

How much were they?

My local AZ has PUP now, which is of only academic interest to me since I am stocked with 2 years-worth of PU.

When I look up PUP on Walmart's website, it says "in store only" and does not give you the option to order online.

The pup was same as pp. $25. Expected it to be $27 like the old formulas. The old PU was going for $15. Which isn't bad but I have the stuff I need in 5W20 at home.
