My kid drives it to college now, so I change when I can, so sometimes it is short, sometimes longer than Ford OCI of 5k.
Mostly concerned about the engine, and not the oil. Oil could have gone way longer than this, I know. Wear metals are still great. Made me happy.
Amsoil filters from the stash appear to be filtering very well.
Dumped in 5Q of PUP 5W-30 and another Purolater Synthetic filter I got on clearance a couple years ago (the syn models don't have the tearing problem, AFAIK).
As I type this, kinda regret using the Purolater filter again. Looked in my records and that is what was in for the 2K run on the report. Twice the insolubles as the Amsoil, in half the mileage.
2016 oil in report was Amsoil XL.
