Good Korning folks. Boss let me have a case of these since we aren’t using many of them at work anymore.


Filter off friends 2018 Expediion with some M1 0w30 ESP I installed last December. Roughly 6k on oil/filter.

In/on: ENDURANCE 10575 he brought and some HPL 5w30 PCMO he has. 90k on vehicle.

To add: YES, that is a tear. All the “made in Mexico PROTECS I’ve ever installed tore. Total junk. The remaining 11 filters from case will be crushed today at work and tossed in filter dumpster. Nice job WIX, NOT!!

Seems the boss didn't do you any favors with topic Hecho en Mexico Protec. Should have held out for the US made Protec in the other c&p. Then you would have had something. Reminds me of difference between US made Bosch Premium and current Mexico BP.

Topic hecho en Mexico Protec filter, for sure. Otoh, for the US made Protec recent c&p HERE up to the task at 7k miles. I'd say generally, 5k mile 'max' a good number for jobber type.
