I was recently looking for specs on various XXw50 oils and noticed how Mobil 1 did not have noack on their 15w50 pi sheet. Then after that I looked at valvoline and noticed theirs was listed as a After a bit more digging i stumbled across the Mag 1 pi sheet and I have to say I am impressed at their pi sheet.

This comes from a relatively inexperienced eye at examining these things. Is there anything important missing here that is normally listed in such things?

Frankly the API site leaves a lot to be desired in my mind. They need a major redo and way to search for items of specific data.

Even when Noack is reported it can be a nominal value so take it for what it’s worth. You do have the maximums that come along with the individual approvals or licenses the oil meets. It’s not a particularly accurate test either.
