Hello again. This filter and I'm guessing Pennzoil were on a 2016 Ford F-150 XLT, 2wheel drive quad cab truck. We use it at work for random stuff and hauling some stuff. Truck has 19,995 on it currently. Put a Parts Plus PH 500 and some Safety Kleen "Eco Power" 5w30 in and on. Enjoy the pics. Ohh, engine is 5.0 V-8 also

I know you're no fan of M&H Puro stuff but I appreciate the straight up answer regarding the seam pleat query. For any filter but especially a jobber/value tier filter at 6k mile oci, looks good. And dare I say, louvers and all.

Just speculating, previous oil change done at Pepboys?

Thanks for c&p.

Sayjac: yeah, there was a PepBoys sticker on windshield.

I thought of trying a Bosch Distance + #3330 for the Focus but at $11~ dunno

Nah to BD+, too expensive for what you get now. I got mine for ~$3.50 each years ago at AAP on a code glitch. Those days are gone. If you're going to get serious miles with synthetic oil, or multiple OCs on one filter, Ultra is best and best value now.

Man your pictures are so much better than when you started this. Nice job, and thanks for all your contributions here!

Filter looks great by the way.

Looks like a Purolator jobber filter. Held up nicely, and I think the media used on Puro jobbers is different from the name brand Puros because media tears in them are nearly nonexistent for the most part.

What's with the last photo ... is that your filter cutting assistant?
