The wife got a new Compaq to replace her old machine. The new one runs Vista. My box runs XP. The laser printer is USBed off her computer. Her Vista can see and read my files just fine. My XP sees her machine and the C drive but can't access it. It also does not see the printer.
As it stands, to print, I go to her office, open my document on her Compaq, and then print.
What can I do short of buying a new printer that comes with a network card? Also, the printer needs to stay on her machine as she prints more at home than I do. She kind of likes Vista and I don't really want to format and install XP, but I will if that is my only option to share the printer.
TIA
