An update: After getting stuck at work with a good 8" of wet snow (12" by this morning) on the ground, followed by a 3+ hour commute home, I have to say the Falkens did just fine. Granted, they are on an AWD car which helps, but the tires were predictable and did everything I asked of them. I'm a lot happier with my purchase now!

Good to hear. The decent treadlife means they will be there next year too.

I think they did well because the temps were actually right at freezing or above. The rubber compound sticks great in the wet which is why they worked pretty good last night. I'm still going to assume that if it was colder outside but with the same amount of snow, I wouldn't be so happy. I guess I'll find out for sure someday.
