Hello:

My 18 years worth of landscaping work is paying off more and more every year. The trees get bigger and the colors more vibrant. The shrubs fill in, mature, and get their unique character. Every year it gets easier to take care of because all the projects are complete. All I do now is watch is grow and maintain it. Not only did I design the yard, I did all the work. Every shovel full, every plant and tree, the trellis, the irrigation, the DG, the dry stack, etc., and I built the front fence. Doing this kind of stuff is a Zen for me.

To bad you couldn't feel the Zen when I took these pictures. It was so peaceful and quiet but wildlife was alive and thriving with happy birds of all types everywhere.

Scott

Where are you located? We have a home in Petaluma. Here are some young Maples we planted this year.

The red leafed trees are Pistache. The yellow leafed trees Sycamore.

We are located in Templeton, CA. In the attached picture all the small sized text is wineries. San Luis Obispo County has over 350 bonded wineries. Several years ago the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance had an internet advertising campaign. Amusing videos. Actor's name is Casey Biggs, a local.

Beautiful country. I flat-out love California.
I do too. I feel very fortunate.

Two things; 1) A map of all the districts within the greater Paso Robles appellation. We live in the Willow Creek District. 2) Las Tablas Road, my way out of the neighborhood. I'm on it 90 seconds after leaving the house when heading out for a bicycle ride. I can ride for 3 or 4 hours in those hills and see less than a dozen cars (picture is looking west).

Your yard looks really nice. I thought you were going to post grape vines changing color. My oak trees don't change color, they just drop.
Thanks tom slick!

I've never seen the oak trees drop so many acorns as they have this year. Insane! And while on my bike rides I have never seen so many downed oak tree branches on the road. Some are big enough to cause serious injury if one of them landed on you.

I apologize. I know I asked you before, but what spacing did you use between posts as well as what is the post height and what’d you use for “fence” between posts?
