ERIC: You stated on the info slip that wear metals should be lower in this sample compared to the
previous one. That's when the Dodge Hemi will "play mind games" with you. Aluminum, chrome and
lead were basically the same while iron increased slightly and copper decreased. Don't worry about
the iron, it probably is some carryover wear from the previous oil. The TBN was 3.5, plenty of active
additive left. When it reads 1.0 on our scale, that active additive is used up. No problems to report at
31,919 total miles. You might try 6500 miles for you next sample.

Notice the Fe fluctuations. It was trending down to as low as 10ppm then shot back up. I would have stayed with M1 but at this point just stick with the PP. It seems to be doing every bit as well.
 
Yeah, I'd probably go one more OCI and see what happens. Then I'd try something else to see if you can do better. OTOH, I doubt that whatever is happening would impact this engine's normal life span, so don't get too worked up about it either way.
