You'd need to check with them but I believe pricing is mostly set by corporate.

That did it for me. Though my CEL was with a different product.
Simple, Techron Concentrate, the 5-6$ stuff OTC at Walmart. I followed the directions to the "T" - take the tank to near empty (drove the vehicle back and forth to work/home once, at/below E) - pulled into the station, dumped the bottle in the tank, filled up with 12 gallons of gasoline, and cruised around as normal. I actually "took it easy" on this tank, since I heard the Techron concentrate has some magic in it to fix incorrect fuel gauges, etc....something in it can de-foul the fuel sensors in the tank or so I guess (reads that way on the bottle too even, and touted many testimonials on 'vette forums!).
So anyways, about 1/2 way through this tank (I wanna say the 4th day on the tank of gas) a CEL comes on at a traffic light....mmmm....well, I drove around with it lit for a couple days, checked the gas cap since it's a common problem for the CEL to come on if the gas cap comes loose, but nope, that wasn't it. Anyways, I was headed to work, and I took it WOT on the on-ramp/merge lane on the highway, and wham, off the light went.
It must have cleared some blockage (or the bulb died in my dash board? lol). I still never went to check the code...but was told the code should stay in the memory until a code reader "resets" it (or I pull the negative battery cable, flicker the head lamps, and honk the horn onto all stored current flushes out).
Funny, I've ran seafoam (crank case, pre-oil change as well as the tank), Berryman's B-12 CHEMTOOL (full tank of gas), and Chevron Techron Concentrate, and of all things, the Techron concentrate gave me the CEL It must be good stuff lol.

Wow. I missed this post way back. I've only used the product twice. It was on an OBDI and an OBDII engine. No coded side effects were noted. They were both of advanced mileage. One was a 91 Taurus with about 60k on the engine (yard engine) but 130k+ on the cat/sensors and one was a 96 2.0 Neon with 130k+ on everything.
